I apologize as my critiques tend to focus on what could be improved rather than what was done well.

Contrast would be a welcome addition to your shadows and highlights. Right now the value difference of the characters is too small to be able to really get a feeling of three dimensionality from the piece.

The composition is good.

The grass becoming darker as we go back in space is actually counter to how space works. Contrary to popular belief darks come forward in space.

The eyes feel a touch separate from the body

The tinted colors come across well, but also clash. Desaturating your colors for background objects and introducing a variety of brightness in the colors would help to integrate the whole piece.

Grass! Lots of grass. The enjoyable thing about art is a lot of it rests on implication. You don't need to state every single blade of grass, even though it's easy with a few brush patterns. There seems to be too much activity in the grass here and it takes my eyes away from the ponies.

There are guides I could link you to to help you with these kinds of things in the future, however they are based in an mlp reddit group so I am unaware of the general acceptance of crossing worlds on deviantart. Purplekecleon's guide on color would be quite helpful I believe: [link]

As always I dislike the ratings system for critiques. Critiques are meant for improvement upon a work not judgement.
